Do you suspect a young person/people (under 18) of carrying a knife or offensive weapon or associating with friends who are believed to be? Knowsley's Crime and Communities Team are working with Police, and partner agencies who have developed an early intervention pathway for these people.
Called 'Op Overwatch', the multi-agency operation aims to;
- Reduce knife enabled crime
- Deliver an early intervention programme which identifies, targets and supports individuals who are identified as being involved in knife enabled crime
- Improve the safety of young people and the community through early identification of risk
- Reduce demand on all services through prevention of knife enabled crime.
