The Littlewoods of Stockbridge Association

The Junior Rangers had a great morning making Bird Boots, sounds strange but it was a unique idea of one of our leaders and the kids were delighted. They used old boots and wellies that were mounted onto wooden bases with small roofs over the top and a wooden medallion with their names on, they were then put up into a tree of their choice and they look absolutely amazing, I think my favourite was the pink wellie. The woodland birds will be spoilt for choice choosing their nesting homes. We’ll done leaders, Helpers parents and kids for making it a fun activity. 

  The Green Guardians Community Group including , Lawrence McIntosh as well as councillor John Donnelly and his family, plus Michelle and Denver Mae from the Junior Rangers cleared the perimeter area of St Alberts Church this morning, that whole area is now fly tip and litter free. Well done everyone for doing your bit for our environment.
